Obviously there was no bd of directors in scripture. I agree and disagree. Not that it matters what I think. Call it a bd of directors or 3 people to hold U accountable. Many ministries started well but slowly veered off track. Not intentionally though. I know a very large church where the bd was all yes men. The pastor started with a handful in a home and went to a 2ooo person church. He slowly let the church be his wife and kids and with no one other than the Y men he ended up getting divorced. Did he intend that? NO. But he was not accountable.
So it’s not good 2B a lone ranger. Paul and Peter and the rest of the guys were accountable to the church in Jerusalem. Paul wanted to make sure he pleased them. So they were accountable.
