Will There Be Room?

Words & Music by Monica Dennington
copyright 2010

{verse 1}
I saw an angel on my simple bed
Tell me could you believe the thing he said…
The Son Of God is in your womb–
Now your deliverance is coming soon,
Coming soon

Fresh in the morning I make my way down
I start to feel the pain,
can’t think about it now–
Oh, Son of God, what will we do?
Oh will we find a place,
Will there be room?…
for you

{Chorus}
Emmanuel, God is with us
Oh the Son of God, you know He’s with us now
Emmanuel, God is with us
Oh the Son of God, you know He’s with us
now…

{verse 2}
I saw an angel, but I could not see
The tears of bitterness were blinding me–
And then I saw the empty tomb!
It tried to hold Him,
It did not have room…
for You

{Chorus}
Emmanuel, God is with us
Oh the Son of God, you know He’s with us now
Emmanuel, God is with us
Oh the Son of God, you know He’s with us, and

Will you bow down,
will you lay all of your excuses down?
When He comes to find a place to lay His weary head,
Will you do better than a manger bed?

When He comes to you, when Jesus comes to you
When He comes to you, when Jesus comes to you,
Will He find room?

{bridge}
The Son of God is coming soon
When He comes will He find room in you?
The Christ is coming soon,
When He comes will He find room in you?

{verse 3}
I saw an angel on my simple bed
Tell me, do you believe
the thing he said…

{the end}

  2. Beautiful song! I would love to see the Christmas messages from 2010 if they get on YouTube about the Magi and teachings on celebrating Christmas, I missed them the first time.
