For most of the past 7 years ,we have had regular requests for video transcripts. For many people, receiving the message by video is not a viable option. A lack of computer or internet access, physical impairment (such as deafness), or lack of computer skills can become barriers that prevent people from hearing God’s Word through the videos. Transcripts are requested because of language barriers, or to enable viewers to study a particular topic in depth. Some people find it easier to share something in print than to share a video – others simply prefer to read a message than to listen to one. Also, written transcripts are easier to reference for people that contact us with questions.
We’re excited to announce that we have now started the process of transcribing our video library. These transcripts are an important tool which will provide people with one more way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They can be downloaded, printed, copied and distributed all day long!
Our very first video transcript is complete – and we want to share it with you!
With over 350 Bible teaching videos in our library – and more on the way – this is likely to be a project that will take a long time. In fact, we are going to have to be selective and simply finish them as time and financial resources permit.
We would like to be able to contract this work out and hire a part-time person to help us complete 2 to 4 transcripts every week. If you’d like to help us with this project, hit the donate button! If you’re interested in volunteering to transcribe a video on your own time, contact us at email@example.com.
Working alone, this is a daunting project – but working together, it should be easy to accomplish! Thanks for your help!
“Two people are better than one,
because they get more done by working together.
If one falls down,
the other can help him up.
But it is bad for the person who is alone and falls,
because no one is there to help.
If two lie down together, they will be warm,
but a person alone will not be warm.
An enemy might defeat one person,
but two people together can defend themselves;
a rope that is woven of three strings is hard to break.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (New Century Version)
