February 5 – Should Women Submit To Abuse?

Does God expect a woman to submit to her husband if he’s abusing her? Is the command for a wife to submit to her husband more binding than the command for husbands to be gentle and respectful to their wives? And are there any examples in the Bible of a godly woman who disobeyed her own husband?

Join Monica Dennington as she goes straight to the Bible to find out why the Church must become a safe place for battered women, and whether God wants women to submit to abuse.

“Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.”

~Colossians 3:18-25

February 4 – Are Your Words Poisoning You?

Are you feeling physically, spiritually, and emotionally toxified? Are you under the impression that this is caused by circumstances or the actions of others? According to Jesus, what power do you have in real life to change your state of being from bitter or discouraged, to peaceful and content?

Join Monica Dennington as she takes you straight to the Bible to find out if you’re being poisoned…by your very own words.

“All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.”

~James 3:7-8

February 3 – What Do Your Idle Words Say About You?

Which words will God judge you by on judgment day? Will He examine your doctrine to be sure it’s perfect? Will he sift through your religious debates to see whether you made the best point? Or could it be the off-hand remarks you make that come roaring back to haunt you?

Join Monica Dennington as she goes straight to the Bible to find out what your idle words will say about you.

“With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.”

~James 3:9-10

February 2 – Can You Tolerate This Video?

Prophecy says sound teaching will not be tolerated in the last days. Are you wondering if this teaching is from God? Here’s a simple test:

Post it.

Say something positive about it. Send it to your friends. And see that there may be one thing left that the Body of believers can agree on.

Though they can tolerate adulterous pastors, misogynist leaders, rich preachers living in evil excess on the dime of widows, and pedophile priests raping children…there is one thing they all agree they cannot tolerate:

This teacher. This video.

So, who’s teaching the truth? Who’s closing their ears? And which one have you been funding?

“For there will be a time when people will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things. And they will turn away from hearing the truth, but on the other hand they will turn aside to myths.”

~2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NIV)

February 1 – The Sunday Morning Special! “Gentlemen: Choose Your Weapons!”

As Christian soldiers, what weapons are we instructed to use? And what is the consequence if we choose the wrong weapon?

Join Monica Dennington as she turns to the Word of God to discover the secret to demolishing the strongholds of Satan, and to taking the gates of Hell!

“In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword.”

~Revelation 1:16a
