Welcome to Unity In The Church week. Today’s message is “Demolishing Denominations: A Prophetic Word From The Lord”
What does God’s Word say about denominations? What does the fact that there are over 40,000 Christian denominations say about the health of the Body? And what is God’s prophetic command to every member of His body who is part of a denomination today?

Let me share a dream I had. In the dream, I saw a wooden coffin and inside the coffin, I saw a church with 2 very large pillars outside. also saw the lid of the coffin resting on the knuckles of 2 hands and the hands in turn were resting on the coffin like one would do just
before nailing it shut. So, as you can imagine, there was very little light left in the coffin because of the lid of the coffin being almost on the coffin. Getting back to the church I saw inside the coffin, I saw thousands of people coming out of the church and jumping out of the coffin as fast as they could. However, there were 2 groups of people who refused to leave,
in fact; they had their fists held in the air. These 2 groups were standing by the 2 very large pillars I had seen earlier in my dream. These pillars had names. The name of the first pillar was religion and the name of the second pillar was politics.
The interpretation of the dream was given by Pastor Guy and is as follows:
A coffin is what you bury the dead in. The coffin in your dream is
religious tradition holding the church (the people in the church) in
captivity from following Jesus. The two large pillars outside are the
gods of the church. The hands belonging to the knuckles in which the
lid of the coffin rested on were the hands of the Lord holding the lid
from closing all the way till those who were going to leave this
traditional church made it out.
The hands which were resting on the coffin like they were about to
shut it was the hands of the spirit of anti christ who was shutting
out the light through lies and deception. This will be a time as the
parrabel in Matt 25 of the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten
virgins.
The foolish virgins will be those remaining in the coffin and refusing
to repent from their gods of religious politics and accept the life of
Christ. Those coming out of the coffin are those who recognize the end
is here and they came out from among them as God said to do in 2 Cor.
6:14-18. The door is about to shut and be sealed.
Some additional things the Lord showed me John 5:25 NIV84
25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
Those who hear are the ones coming out of the casket.
The people who standing by the pillars refusing to leave are the ones of whom Jesus says that they are trying to kill Him because there is no room in their hearts for His word. Which is why they did not leave the church in the coffin and why they will try to kill any move of God that would cause people to want to leave the coffin. They prefer the darkness of the coffin where their deeds go unexposed John 3:19-21 NKJV
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

Foundation: Jesus or Babylon
Jesus said to Peter when speaking about His Church in Mat 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock(Jesus) I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
When speaking to the Pharisees in Mar 12:10 And have you not read this scripture “The Stone which the builders rejected (they rejected it because they were using works, their accomplishments(religion) the things they had built as the cornerstone/ foundation stone which God flatly rejects as He does all human effort)has become the Head of the corner: (corner stone)The cornerstone (or foundation stone) concept is derived from the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, (Jesus), thus determining the position of the entire structure.
Mar 12:11 this was from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes”?
1Pe 2:5 you also as living stones(only the Lord is referred to as The Rock) are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Babylon is the church system in place today. If you look at it’s inception on the plains of Shinar in Genesis :
Gen 11:3 And they said to one another, Come, let us make brick and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone(people dead with religious works as opposed to living stones.) , and they had asphalt for mortar.(arrogance and pride in human accomplishments are the foundation of the Babylonian church system with rebellion as its chief cornerstone) And let us make a name for ourselves(arrogance & pride), lest we be scattered upon the face of the whole earth. (rebellion for the Lord’s command from the very beginning was, Gen 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it. And have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the heavens, and all animals that move upon the earth. Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons. And He said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. (Eph 4:16 He makes the whole body fit together and unites it through the support of every joint(remember the bones). As each and every part does its job, he makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. Jesus is the mortar the makes the whole building, each stone, fit together)
Dan 4:30 The king spoke and said, Is this not great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power and for the honor of my majesty? (is this not a picture of the church today ? )
This is what the Lord says about the Babylonian church , “Jer 51:26 And they shall not take a stone from you for a corner(rebellion), nor a stone for foundations(pride & arrogance); but you shall be a waste forever, says Jehovah. Mar 13:1 JESUS DEPARTED the temple area and was going His way(it is said here that Jesus departed the temple for the last time, never to return to it again), when His disciples came up to Him to call His attention to the buildings of the temple and point them out to Him(Man’s accomplishments)
Mar 13:2 And answering Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be one stone left on another that shall not be thrown down. (This temple was called Herod’s Temple, Here is where religion, the pharisees met politics, Herod )
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great has fallen, has fallen! And it has become the dwelling-place of demons, and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a cage of every unclean bird which has been hated,
Rev 18:3 because of the wine of the anger of her fornication which all the nations have drunk. And the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. And the merchants of the earth became rich from the power of her luxury.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that you may not be partakers of her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues. (The Lord is calling His people (His Church)to come out of the Babylonian system and into His Church the one founded upon Jesus, the one and only Rock)
Rev 18:5 For her sins joined together, even up to Heaven(pride & arrogance is a stench that ascends to Heaven), and God has remembered her unjust deeds.
Rev 18:6 Reward her as she has rewarded you, and double to her double, according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix double to her.
Rev 18:7 As much as she has glorified herself and has lived in luxury, so much torment and sorrow give her. For she says in her heart, I sit as a queen, and I am not a widow; and I do not see mourning at all. (Behold the arrogance)
Rev 18:8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day, death and mourning and famine. And she will be consumed with fire, for the Lord God who judges her is strong.
Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth who have committed fornication and lived in luxury with her will weep for her, and will wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning;
Rev 18:10 standing afar off for fear of her torment, saying, Woe! Woe to the great city, Babylon, that strong city! For in one hour your judgment came.
Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their cargo any more;
Rev 18:12 the cargo of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and every ivory vessel, and every vessel of very precious wood, and of bronze, and of iron, and of marble,
Rev 18:13 and cinnamon, and incenses, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (religion enslaves and holds captive the souls of men & women)
Rev 18:14 And the fruits of the lust of your soul have departed from you, and all the fat things and the bright things departed from you, and you will find them no more, not at all.
Rev 18:15 The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand afar off because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning
Rev 18:16 and saying, Woe! Woe to the great city which was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! (Mar 13:1 And as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, Master, see! What stones and what buildings! We need to be enamored by the Lord’s greatness and the splendor His Majesty not things made by man )
Rev 18:17 For in one hour such great riches was desolated. And every ship-pilot, and all the company on the ships, and sailors, and as many as work the sea, stood afar off.
Rev 18:18 And they cried out, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What is like the great city?
Rev 18:19 And they threw dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, Woe! Woe to the great city, by which all who had ships in the sea were rich out of her costliness! For in one hour she was ruined. (The religious cry in anguish over the destruction of the Babylonian system)
Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, Heaven, and the holy apostles, and the prophets, since God judged your judgment on her. (The Saints of God rejoice)
Rev 18:21 And one strong angel took up a stone like a great millstone( and threw it into the sea, saying, So on an impulse the great city, Babylon, will be thrown down and not at all will be found any more. Mat 18:6 But whoever shall offend one of these little ones who believes in Me, it would be better for him that an ass’s millstone were hung around his neck, and he be sunk in the depth of the sea. (the Babylonian church system has wounded many a young believer and caused them to loose faith in the Lord and abandon Him)
Rev 18:22 And the voice of harpers, and of musicians. and flutists, and of trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. And every craftsman of any craft will not be found any more in you. And the sound of a mill will never more be heard at all in you.
Rev 18:23 And the light of a lamp will never more shine at all in you. And the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will never more be heard at all in you. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth; for by your sorceries(witchcraft, controlling spirit along with the spirit of religion) all nations were deceived.
Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all those who were slain on the earth.
This is not a church that anyone should want to be apart of.
